Franklin's Index of Viable Entrepreneurism — II
Predicting a company's success — or even lack thereof — has always been problematic, but now we think there is help. It's a tool we call the FIVE Indicator.
It represents, on a scale of one to five (five being the highest), the likelihood of a company becoming operationally, well, viable. The FIVE Indicator is calculated by reviewing all the critical areas from the perspectives of the various stakeholders. There are 31 metrics, which are grouped into five major categories:
Management
Financials
Product / Service
Marketing / Sales
Operations / Planning
Some of these metrics are more important than others, so we weight them accordingly. When all the calculations are done, we obtain the overall FIVE Indicator for your company.
